Price and portion right on point. Take the drive from the commercial joints and come eat here. If you go somewhere else your paying too much. Staff is friendly, worth the drive
Wonderful restaurant. Very amazing food and friendly staff. Felt right at home. The German sausage and Brisket were amazing.
Extremely fast service. Great pit barbecue. My brisket was awesome. The German potato salad was great. Daily specials and a terrific staff make this a really great place to eat.
Ultimate Chef Salad. Stuffed Baked Potato. Curly Fries with Ranch. Fried Pickles.... I could go on forever, it is all so good. Excellent service. Wait time for food I'd minimal BEST RANCH IN TEXAS!!!!!
Great place for great barbecue.
Stopped there for a late lunch on a Sunday but there were a surprising number of people so I figured the good reviews were deserved. I was not disappointed. The server was friendly and made great suggestions, even bringing me a same of their German potato salad to try. I tried it and it was very flavorful so I had it as a side to go on my 3 meat BBQ plate. The sliced brisket had a great smoky flavor, the turkey was excellent, and the German sausage was very good too. The BBQ sauce was the perfect mix of sweet, savory, and spicy with just a hint if a kick to it. The other person in our party ordered a Sirloin steak that was seasoned well and perfectly cooked to the right internal temperature, but with a slight char on the outside. Whoever cooked it knew what they were doing! We will definitely eat there again.
Got chopped brisket and sliced brisket sandwiches with soda - really yummy and they do not skimp on the meat! Highly recommend stopping by here if you’re ever visiting the area. I would look forward to trying other menu options in the future.
This is one of those places you’d never find on your own—but locals know. I went with a friend who’s a born-and-raised regular, and the second we walked in, we felt right at home. We arrived at 8:30 p.m., just a half hour before closing, and not once did we feel rushed. The staff was incredibly kind and attentive, offering great recommendations without ever hovering or pushing. The refills came easy, the vibe was relaxed, and the food? Absolutely delicious. The portions were massive (seriously, come hungry or plan for leftovers), the prices were super reasonable, and they accept both card and cash. They even stayed open a little late for us, which felt like the kind of small-town courtesy you rarely experience anymore. If you’re looking for a place that’s big on flavor, heart, and hospitality—this is it. Don’t miss it.
